Konteniaga Public Bonded Warehouse Sdn. Bhd. (193356 V) provides professional Third Party Logistics (3PL) services, distribution, bonded and non- bonded warehousing and other value adding activities, which form part of the spectrum of total logistics services provided by the Transocean Group.

Location.

Located on a 6 acres site along Jalan Perusahaan Sungai Lokan 3, kawasan Perusahaan Sungai Lokan, Butterworth, Penang

Facilities provided comprise:

• 80,000 sq ft bonded warehouse space providing about 5,000 euro pallets rack storage.
• 12,000 sq ft temperature controlled bonded warehouse space with back-up generator set (temperature range at 16 - 22 c; humidity - 60 - 65 %)
• 30,000 sq ft compartmentalized bonded & non-bonded warehouse space for bulk storage, project cargo and other dedicated use.
• All weather stuffing / unstuffing of containers & receiving / delivering operations from lorries via 11 units loading bays with dock levelers.
• Reach trucks, paper cramp trucks & forklift trucks for handling cargoes.
• In- house customs office for prompt customs clearance.
• Ample open yard space for handling & storage of over- sized heavy lifts & odd- sized cargoes.
• Round the clock security services by in-house & professional security personnel
  
  Services provided include:
• State of the art Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  Operational in May 2001,the WMS is capable of handling the full range of Third Party Logistics services that meet the exacting demands of the Logistics Industry and Multinational Corporations. It complements and supports the Transocean Group's other logistics services. 
  
  Systems functionalities include:
  User Security Control; Real Time Control - accuracy & flexibility in overall warehouse operation; Location Control; Receipt & Put-Away; Picking & Shipping; X- Dock Operation; Inventory Management; Stock Count; Billing capability by various modes; Reporting on Stock Movements; Stock Status; KPI; Product Location; Stock On Hand/ Available/ Pipeline/Picked/ Shipped; RF and bar -code identification etc.
  

  E- Pulse On-Line.
• The WMS through E- Pulse, has track and trace process capabilities. On-line requests & information are transmitted between customers & KPBW and channeled through a web-based information hub that can further integrate the Transocean logistics systems to those of the customers, providing high productivity and efficiency.
• Real time inventory information with secured access via a simple click through the Internet is available to approved customers.
• The E- Pulse will be the vital linkage to the customer's e-business setup.

• Inventory Management with daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Stock Count and Cycle Count.
• Vendor Management Inventory (VMI).
• External Warehouse operation & management.
• Consignment Stock.
• Order Picking.
• Supports Just In Time Production (JIT)
• Handling of QA sampling.
• Pre- QA Quarantine.
• Stock Control by production date / expiry date / lot no./ bar code no.
• Stock Warranty Tracking through serial number.
• Product Recall.

  Other Value Adding Services provided which play a vital role in the Supply Chain Management are:
• Storage & Distribution Center for goods in Malaysian & International markets.

• Transportation of cargo from port / airport to the bonded warehouse.
